Job Requisition: Experienced Mortgage Loan Processor

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Mortgage Loan Processor to join our team in Lubbock, Texas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing and managing mortgage loan applications, ensuring all required documentation is complete, accurate, and in compliance with regulations. The Processor will collaborate closely with loan officers, underwriters, and customers to ensure a smooth and timely loan process from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and verify loan applications, financial documents, and borrower information for completeness and accuracy.
- Process mortgage loan files in accordance with company guidelines and federal regulations.
- Ensure timely submission of required documentation and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
- Communicate effectively with loan officers, underwriters, closers and borrowers to provide updates and gather additional information as needed.
- Track loan status and ensure that all deadlines are met.
- Ensure all compliance regulations, guidelines, and policies are adhered to throughout the loan process.
- Assist in resolving any issues that arise during the loan processing phase.
- Maintain an organized and efficient work environment and manage multiple loan files simultaneously.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a mortgage loan processor.
- In-depth knowledge of mortgage loan processing, including FHA, VA, Conventional, and USDA loans.
- Experience working with Desktop Underwriter, Loan Product Advisor and GUS.
- Strong understanding of mortgage regulations, guidelines, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Education/Certifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Mortgage Loan Processing related training required.
- Experience with MortgageBot is preferred but not required.
