Energetic and reliable front desk representative with great customer service skills needed for a full time position at a Neurology private practice office. Our ideal candidate is able to multitask at a fast paced environment, simultaneously enter data into our electronic medical records, intake our patients, answer incoming calls, outgoing calls to other medical facilities as well as patients, assist providers with any tasks needed. This position requires background and relevant experience in an outpatient medical office, knowledge of medical terminology, familiarity with creating word documents or google docs, scanning reports into charts, navigating through electronic medical records and understanding discretion with regards to patient medical care.

Other responsibilities include triaging phone calls, recognizing which calls require physician or nurse intervention, gathering pertinent patient information for the providers, calling in refills, creating letters for patients, taking turns removing trash at the end of the day. A typical day would require this candidate to intake patients both on virtual and patients in office.

Job requirements:
Professional demeanor and courteous towards our patients and office team.
Familiarity with medical terminology.
Working knowledge of ATHENA software.

Hours of work - Monday through Friday, scheduled lunch break provided.
