Your Responsibilities :
Collaborate with a team of experienced developers focused on distributed microservices and full stack systems.
Engage in software development of Front End Applications using a test-driven development approach.
Take ownership of the technical design and development of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems.
Stay ahead of tech trends by experimenting with and adopting new technologies while mentoring peers in the engineering community.
Work alongside digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions aimed at helping millions of Americans achieve financial empowerment.
Utilize programming languages including JavaScript (Angular, React, Node), HTML / CSS, TypeScript, and Java, while working with open source frameworks and RESTful web services on cross-browser and cross-device development.
Basic Requirements : Bachelor's Degree.
Minimum of 3 years of professional software engineering experience (internships do not qualify).
Preferred Qualifications :
5 years of experience with at least one of the following : JavaScript, React, Angular, Node, TypeScript, or Java.
1 years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or other cloud services.
3 years of experience with open source frameworks.
2 years of experience in Agile methodologies.

The salary range for this role is between $158,600 - $181,000. These figures are specific to McLean, VA; actual salary may vary based on work location.
Additionally, employees in this role may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, including cash bonuses and long-term incentives. Capital One also offers a competitive benefits package to support employee well-being.
