In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to safeguard the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Workday applications and data. As a subject matter expert in Workday security, you will provide strategic direction and technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities :
- Security Implementation : Play a key role in designing, implementing, and administering security controls for the Workday environment to ensure robust and effective security configurations and integrations.
- Risk Assessment : Conduct periodic security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and risks in our Workday environment. Partner with the risk management team to formulate and execute effective mitigation strategies.
- Access Management : Implement and oversee role-based access controls (RBAC) to regulate user access levels. Regularly review and tweak access permissions to uphold compliance and security.
- Incident Response : Aid in the investigation and resolution of security incidents related to the Workday platform, participating in root cause analysis and remedial actions.
- Policy Adherence : Ensure compliance with internal security policies and industry best practices. Contribute to the crafting and ongoing maintenance of security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Collaboration : Collaborate with IT, HR, and other business units to comprehend security requirements and weave security measures into business processes. Offer technical support and expertise to stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement : Keep abreast of the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices. Proactively recommend enhancements to bolster the security posture of the Workday environment.
- SOX Compliance : Support SOX audit activities by confirming that Workday security controls are effective and functioning as intended. Prepare necessary documentation and evidence to demonstrate compliance with SOX regulations.
