McLean, VA: $170,800 - $194,900 for MMB Relationship Manager III
Richmond, VA: $155,300 - $177,200 for MMB Relationship Manager III
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.

Responsibilities:
- Develops and executes a portfolio growth strategy in alignment with the bank’s risk and return objectives, and achieves specific production goals.
- Expands the portfolio through habitual calling on clients and prospective clients representing high quality new loan, deposit, and fee business opportunities. This includes proactively developing and delivering ideas that differentiate Capital One’s offering within the marketplace.
- Communicates effectively with teammates and partners across multiple job functions to drive dealflow and portfolio management. This includes risk, legal, product partners, client servicing, and senior leadership.
- Partners closely with risk towards assessment of new opportunities and maintenance/monitoring existing portfolio.
- Responsible for pre-qualification, structuring, pricing, and closing all loan opportunities. This includes presenting recommendations to the risk committee based on assessment of risk and return considerations.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of competitors’ products and pricing in the market served.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize dynamic workload.
- Keeps others informed on status or issues; achieves buy-in and builds consensus with others.
- Bachelors Degree or military experience
- At least 5 years of experience in Commercial Banking
- Master degree in Business Administration or Finance
- Completion of formal credit training program
- At least 2 years of portfolio management or relationship management experience
- At least 2 years of experience selling and servicing bank products
