About the Cloud Operations Resilience Engineering (CORE) Team
This innovative division is dedicated to enhancing Capital One's cloud infrastructure, focusing on observability, connectivity, resilience, and availability.
Key Responsibilities :
Collaborate within Agile teams to design, develop, test, and support technical solutions across the full stack.
Stay ahead of technology trends, experiment with new tools, and engage with both internal and external tech communities while mentoring fellow engineers.
Work closely with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans with their financial journeys.
Utilize a range of programming languages including JavaScript, Java, HTML / CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, as well as Open Source databases, and Container Orchestration tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services.
Basic Qualifications :
Hold a Bachelor’s Degree.
Possess at least 3 years of experience in software engineering (excluding internship experience).
Preferred Qualifications :
5 years of experience in languages such as Java, Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js.
3 years of experience working with GCP or Azure.
3 years of experience with open source frameworks.
2 years of experience in Agile methodologies.

The minimum and maximum annual salaries for this role are as follows :
- McLean, VA : $158,600 - $181,000
- Plano, TX : $144,200 - $164,600
- Richmond, VA : $144,200 - $164,600
Keep in mind that salaries may vary based on location and actual offers will be reflected in the candidate's offer letter.
This role also includes performance-based incentives, which may encompass cash bonus(es) or long-term incentives. Other benefits provided by Capital One support your overall well-being.
