With a commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction, were seeking an experienced Asphalt Paving Superintendent to join our dynamic team and oversee paving operations on a variety of projects in Southwest MO. This position will be based out of our Springfield, Missouri office.
Position Summary
As an Asphalt Paving Superintendent, youll manage the day-to-day operations of asphalt paving projects, ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion. You will supervise crews, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure all aspects of paving operations meet company and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of asphalt paving projects, from start to finish.
- Manage and lead paving crews, subcontractors, and laborers to ensure project success.
- Plan and coordinate schedules, materials, and equipment to meet project deadlines.
- Monitor work quality to ensure it meets specifications and company standards.
- Conduct on-site inspections to address issues and implement solutions.
- Promote and enforce safety protocols across the job site.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and inspectors for seamless execution.
- Maintain accurate project records, including daily reports, material usage, and workforce hours.
- Control costs and ensure projects are completed within budget.
What Were Looking For
- Experience: At least 15 years of asphalt paving experience, with 5 years experience managing asphalt paving crews.
- Knowledge: Expertise in asphalt paving techniques, materials, and equipment.

- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and project specifications.
- Organized and detail-oriented, with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required
