This position is for a telehealth, in-person, or hybrid therapist. Our clinicians choose their work location.

Our clinicians determine how many clients they see. Depending on the number of clients a clinician sees, our clinicians make between 90,000 and 105,000 per year.

Capital Private Psychological Services is an established and growing private mental health practice in Columbus, Ohio. Our practice believes in the power of diversity amongst our staff and the value of representation in mental healthcare for clients. We are looking for an open-hearted, intelligent therapist to support clients while positively contributing to the culture and growth of the practice and encourage diverse individuals to apply. This clinician must be licensed to practice therapy in the state of Ohio.

Our therapists are responsible for seeing clients, completing documentation, and scheduling follow up appointments for clients. The scope of work for clinicians is limited to ensure clinicians can devote all of their working time towards therapy and client work. Specific clinical responsibilities include:

- Planning, coordinating, managing, and implementing treatment plans to help clients address their presenting concerns

- Assessing clients' current condition, needs, strengths, and weaknesses

- Addressing each client as an individual and setting tailored, measurable goals

- Implementing a variety of theories and practices with clients

- Monitoring and evaluating clients' progress and modifying treatment plans accordingly

- Staying educated on the most current evidence-based practices

- Maintaining accurate records

- Scheduling follow up appointments for established clients


This is a 1099 Contractor position and does not offer benefits. However, Capital Private Psychological Services has contracted low premiums as a group for clinicians and staff who want to purchase benefits. The benefits available are:

Qualifications:

- A Master's or Doctorate-Level degree is required

- An active license in the state of Ohio for Psychology, Marital and Family Therapy, Social Work, or Professional Counseling

- A working knowledge of theories and practices

- An ability to build and maintain professional helping relationships

- An ability to relate and communicate with diverse populations and groups

- A resiliency along with an ability to assess situations

Individuals who are skilled at utilizing their professional knowledge and available resources to meet the needs of their clients perform best.
