JOB TITLE: Shipping and Receiving Inventory Clerk

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
The Shipping and Receiving Inventory Clerk position exists to pick and pack the used ATV parts, create mailing labels and shipping documents, and ensure orders are filled correctly. The Clerk also verifies incoming shipments by accepting returned parts from customers.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Shipping and Receiving Inventory Clerk is expected to:
- Review daily orders, consolidate orders as necessary, and create accurate labels.
- High attention to detail when picking and organizing parts before shipping.
- Box orders using company best practices for product placement, cushioning, and packing techniques to prevent damage during the shipping and handling process.
- Able to use critical thinking skills to decide the most cost-effective way to package and ship orders.
- Schedule daily third-party pick-ups with services including FedEx, UPS, and USPS
- Accept packages returned by customers, remove packaging, and place products back into inventory accurately.
- Maintain min/max levels of packing and shipping materials.
- Organize, monitor, and sort inventory; routinely balance inventory logs with physical inventory.
- Be courteous and respectful to others and others' workspace
MINOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Shipping and Receiving Inventory Clerk duties also include but are not limited to:
- Clean used ATV parts or shop area as necessary
- Other duties as assigned by ownership/management
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must have full mobility and ability to repeatedly bend, climb, kneel, squat, lift, manipulate, and move items weighing 50lbs, periodically upwards of 75lbs.
- Stand for extended periods.
- Exposure to bright lights, loud noise, dust, gas, and/or fumes.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Work Location: In person
Salary : $14 - $18
