Capital Regional Pharmacy Services is seeking a skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team. As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional pharmaceutical care to our patients and ensuring their safety and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Dispensing prescription medication accurately and efficiently
- Reviewing patient medication histories and assessing potential drug interactions
- Communicating with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure the best possible care for patients
- Educating patients and caregivers about their medications, including dosages, side effects, and potential interactions with other drugs or supplements
- Assisting in the management of inventory, including ordering, receiving, and storing medications and supplies
- Performing medication therapy management (MTM) services to ensure medication adherence and optimal therapeutic outcomes
- Ensuring compliance with all federal and state regulations related to pharmacy practice
- Providing exceptional customer service to all patients and visitors
- Advocating for patients and their medication-related needs
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a pharmacist in the state of New York
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in computer skills, including experience with pharmacy management software
- Knowledge of all federal and state regulations related to pharmacy practice
