Job Summary
The Driver/Maintenance Assistant will perform a variety of tasks, including:
- Providing scheduled transportation to residents while ensuring their safety and comfort
- Conducting pre-trip checks on the van and maintaining its cleanliness and safety
- Assisting residents with entering and exiting vehicles, as well as with other duties as assigned
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to read maps, utilize resources such as a telephone book, and write down and follow instructions. They must also maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times, treating residents with dignity and respect.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
