This role is a fantastic opportunity to provide essential transportation services to residents of a premier retirement community in Elkhorn, NE. As a Transportation Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and comfortable transportation of residents within the guidelines established by the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport residents within the facility's established guidelines
- Pre-check vehicles before each trip to ensure they are in good working condition
- Assist residents on and off vehicles from entry and exit points
- Maintain vehicles by advising the Activity Director of needed maintenance or repairs and keeping a log of trips and maintenance
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A professional appearance and attitude at all times
- The ability to read maps, utilize resources like telephone books, and follow instructions
- Adequate communication skills in English to interact with residents, staff, medical staff, and other stakeholders
