What are the responsibilities and job description for the Handyman/Apartment Maintenance Technician position at Capital Staffing, Inc.?
We are looking for a thorough Apartment Maintenance Technician to undertake the responsibility to preserve the good condition and functionality of premises in Winters, CA!
You will perform maintenance tasks of great variety such as painting, minor interior/exterior repairs, landscaping, etc. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines. The goal is to maintain the buildings and common areas in the best possible condition. Handy man experience would be great!
This role is great for someone with a sense of team work that enjoys a fast paced environment.
Day shift
Pay: $23 an hour
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform daily inspection and maintenance of common areas, and grounds.
- Clean, do maintenance and paint or touch up interior units upon move-out or as directed/needed.
- Provide interior touch-up painting of doors, trims, walls.
- Provide minor repairs to both the interior and exterior of the complex, including plumbing, electrical, door locks, appliance and drywall.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of all tools, equipment, and supplies assigned to the complex.
- All equipment assigned to the complex is to be kept in good working order at all times.
SKILLS
- Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields
- Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Deadline and detail-oriented
