What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Planning Analyst position at Capital Stewardship Partners - Private Client Group?
OVERALL FUNCTION
The Financial Planning Analyst will be responsible for leading financial planning-related activities, including but not limited to retirement planning, wealth preservation and transfer planning, and business succession planning, as well as developing, employing, and driving planning-related initiatives that enhance client experience standards efforts across the organization. Will also be partnering with advisors and teams to understand the financial landscape for our clients, create and deliver financial plans that aid client’s in making educated financial decisions.
In addition to expertise, knowledge, and experience in financial planning, the ideal candidate will work with other team members to leverage technology to create and implement financial planning processes for a multi-member team with varying degrees of technological skill. Also, actively participate as a member of the leadership team contributing to enable the success and growth of the Company.
FINANCIAL PLANNING RESPONSIBILITIES
· Oversee the design, construction, and implementation of plan presentations (PX) and flowcharts for clients and prospects ensuring efficient, accurate, and timely execution.
· Create/Assemble reports needed for case prep for all advisors.
· Participate in the firm’s Planning Committee which focuses on the creation of financial planning advice standards, planning philosophy, cutting-edge planning strategy, and financial plan construction/communication techniques.
· Develop customized planning strategies and construct plans aligned with client objectives and consistent with the firm’s planning strategy.
· Liaise with the Sophisticated Planning Strategies team regarding complex planning strategies.
· Collaborate with other client advisors (attorneys, accountants) to build the most accurate plan and efficient experience for the client.
· Proactive client plan analysis; identifying inefficiencies and opportunities, including recommendations and execution of solutions.
· Maintain a high client service level by working closely with the advisor and service advisor teams to meet client needs.
· Maintain current industry and regulatory knowledge impacting financial planning operations, and update processes as needed to ensure compliance.
· Collaborate with our Home Office partners to advocate for necessary financial planning software changes as needed.
· Be active, present, and proactive in engagement on Home Office Committees as the opportunity arises.
QUALIFICATIONS
· FINRA Series 7, 63
· Life and Health insurance license
· 5 years' experience in financial planning industry desired.
· CFP
· Experience with implementing workflow and process improvements, along with a strong understanding of supporting technologies and platforms.
· Demonstrates a high level of initiative and seeks to implement new solutions to operational challenges.
· High standards for productivity and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple competing tasks and short deadlines.
· Strong analytical skills with close attention to detail and accuracy.
· Highly motivated, well-organized, and detail-oriented.

Salary : $60,000 - $90,000
