This role involves safeguarding the company’s financial well-being through the management of various budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting. Your contributions will be essential to the effective functioning of the organization. You will demonstrate financial leadership by collaborating with our current accounting team to facilitate the seamless implementation of policies and procedures.
The successful candidate must possess a keen attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively, given the diverse nature of work across various industries. The selected candidate will have a diverse background in accounting systems mainly QuickBooks Online and desktop applications. The Controller will oversee the administration, direction, coordination, and assessment of financial functions and activities.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Collaborates with the existing accounting team to efficiently manage accounts across all business units.
- Assumes responsibility for overseeing policies and procedures related to all company accounts and records.
- Conducts audits of financial reports as necessary.
- Maintains corporate checking accounts, credit cards, and purchase orders.
- Identifies potential areas of concern by ensuring compliance with regulations and supervises internal controls to protect the company’s financial integrity and mitigate financial risk.
- Facilitates effective collaboration among all accounting staff.
- Manages various financial ledgers.
- Regularly assesses alternative products, services, and processes.
- Prepares monthly accounts payable and receivable reconciliations, cash flow reports, and balance sheet audits.
- Delivers pertinent financial information directly to ownership.
- Performs any additional tasks assigned by the Operations Director and CEO.
