Position Reports to: Resort Manager, Assistant Resort Manager and Director of Special EventsJob Summary: This is a full-time position May 20th-End of October with part-time work available outside of these dates depending on weddings and events.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Responsible for facilitation of all aspects of on-site activities, weddings, seminars, workshops, and member activities. Coordinate with maintenance, housekeeping, and reservations to provide a successful outcome. Attend to guests needs in a professional manner with a high level of integrity and service. Provide general event support in planning, coordinating, and implementing all events, programs, and ceremonies as assigned, including resort wide special events. - Responsible for supporting the Director of Special Events with events, programs, and ceremonies.
- Help prepare for all Resort activities
- Prepare Wedding packets
- Help with set-up and clean-up of weddings
- Maintain all wedding areas and planters
- Decorating Main Lodge for Holidays
- Kids Activities
- Assist with social media content
- Prepare layout diagrams, oversee layout setup and break-down
- Processing special requests, interacting with clients, meeting and exceeding expectations
- Resolve problems or issues and troubleshooting as needed
- Follows up on action items
- Perform all job-related duties and special projects as assigned by Director of Special Events
