Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role as an Area Sales Manager overseeing a sales teams in our Coastal and Charleston areas. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for managing day-to-day sales operations, leading and training the sales team, developing sales strategies, and driving revenue growth. They will also be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key customers and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Excellent leadership, communication, and sales skills
- Proven track record in sales management and team leadership
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Goal-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Prior experience in the waste or recycling industry is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus

Area Sales Manager Daily Activities:
- Leading and training a sales team to achieve sales targets
- Developing and implementing sales strategies
- Building and maintaining relationships with key customers
- Conducting sales presentations and negotiations
- Monitoring sales performance and providing regular reports to senior management
- Conducting post-sale administrative work to ensure customer onboarding is successful and seamless
- Prospecting, cold-calling, selling, and closing new business deals
- Managing the current customer base, including service changes, inquiries, ownership changes, location closures, etc.
- Requires travel to area businesses, multiple sites including transfer stations and/or landfills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000 OTE. $70,000 per year Generous Bonus Plan Car/Cell Allowance
