Position Summary : We are currently looking for an Account Manager for our Sacramento Branch. This position serves customers by selling products and meeting customer needs. Responsible for selling products, fielding questions, and resolving customer complaints. Services existing accounts and also establishes new accounts. Gives sales presentations, submits orders and submits activity and results reports to supervisors. Travel required; typically 2 days in office and 3 on the road to start. $60K to $65K, DOE Commission.

Principal Accountabilities & Deliverables for Account Manager
Sell / market Company products and services using all communication methods provided and within the parameters set by the CompanyQuote and negotiate product prices on behalf of the Company to customers, using independent judgment and discretion based on knowledge of current market conditions and other factorsParticipate in Home Center events to promote Capital and out productsReceive customer questions, concerns and complaints and exercise judgment and discretion to resolve them on behalf of the CompanyCollect and disperse information relevant to the customer’s and company’s needs and use that information to provide superior customer serviceContinually analyze customer base and manage according to the best return on time investedActively participate in strategic planning and annual budgeting by accountComplete training courses, classes and seminars as assignedMaintain on-going product knowledge meetings for your customersPerform product maintenance through cycle counts as necessary for specialty item inventoryPerform other work related duties as assigned by your supervisor and be flexible and adaptable to changes that will occur during the course of employmentQualifications
Education / Experience and Skills
Minimum of an Associates degree from an accredited academic institution, or commensurate industry experienceUnderstanding or knowledge of lumber industry, the company and the products and services providedBasic computer knowledgeAbility to model the Capital values and to provide innovative solutionsAbility to effectively communicate, motivate and engage commitment of customers and team membersAbility to drive and be accountable for results in a fast paced environmentAbility to multi-task and have multiple projects going simultaneouslyA strong sense of urgency for goal achievementResults focused with ability to make quick decisions to changing conditionsStrong follow-up is necessary on tasks to ensure proper resultsDetail-oriented with ability to handle details quickly, correctly and efficientlyAbilities
