Position Description for
Program Director
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Directs and manages program staff, assisting leadership with ensuring appropriate staffing is in place to facilitate programs and funder mandates.
- Assists in onboarding, training, and orienting new staff members.
- Oversees coalition programs and initiatives ensuring model fidelity and completion of contract deliverables.
- Conducts continuous quality improvement activities and provides on-going training and support to Coalition programs.
- Initiates and sets goals for programs based on Coalition’s Service Delivery Plan.
- Conducts data analysis for program-and community-level data to identify trends.
- Creates and generates reports as required by contracts.
- Monitors program expenditures, ensuring expenses are allowable per funder and budgetary guidelines.
- Assists in the revision and updating of the Coalition’s Needs Assessment and Service Delivery Plan as required by contracts.
- Facilitates meetings for the Service Delivery Plan and Substance Exposed Newborn Taskforce as needed.
- Assists in new program development and implementation.
- Attends monthly CRT meetings where fetal and infant death cases are presented and discussed with community members and facilitates these meetings as necessary.
- Attends CI&R and FIMR CAT quarterly meetings and facilitates these meetings as necessary.
- Participates in community meetings as determined by the Executive Director.
- Participates in Coalition special events.
- Attends board meetings and advises board of directors on coalition programs and contracts.
- Attends trainings as required.
- Other duties as assigned by Executive Director.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required. Masters preferred. Experience in maternal and child health desired. Minimum of 3 years of experience in supervision, program management, and quality assurance activities. Experience in budget monitoring is required. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written skills. Detail-oriented with strong computer literacy in word processing, databases, and spreadsheets. Must be able to work independently.
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Must successfully pass a Level II Background Screen and be able to lift 10 – 15 pounds.
Compensation : $55,500 – $60,000
