We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Integration Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for integrating our applications with third-party software solutions used by our customers. You will work closely with both internal teams and clients to ensure seamless data flow and functional connections between systems. Your responsibilities will include designing, implementing, documenting, testing, and troubleshooting integrations. This role also requires the creation of custom components and enhancements when necessary, as well as managing and authoring tickets and stories for these tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Integration Design & Implementation:
Design and implement integrations between our company’s products and third-party applications, ensuring efficient, reliable, and scalable solutions using standard connections and protocols.
- Documentation:
Develop comprehensive integration documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and technical instructions for stakeholders. Ensure clear communication on integration processes and troubleshooting steps.
- Customization & Enhancement:
When necessary, design custom components or enhancements to meet the specific needs of customers. Develop solutions to address unique business requirements while maintaining compatibility with standard product features.
- Testing & Troubleshooting:
Perform thorough testing of integrations, including functional testing, regression testing, and troubleshooting. Identify, diagnose, and resolve issues with current integrations, ensuring continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
- Coordination & Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, development, and customer success, to ensure successful integration projects. Collaborate with customers to understand their integration needs and provide technical guidance and support.
- Ticket & Story Creation:
Author clear, actionable tickets and user stories for enhancements or custom development related to integrations. Track progress and communicate updates to internal teams and clients.
- Tools & Methodologies:
Utilize tools like Postman, along with other integration and testing tools, to configure, test, and validate integrations. Apply best practices for API integrations and ensure adherence to security and compliance standards.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in software integrations, with a strong understanding of web services, APIs, and cloud-based integration methods.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with integration tools like Postman, SOAP, REST APIs, and webhooks.
- Knowledge of common integration protocols (JSON, XML, OAuth, etc.).
- Familiarity with database querying and debugging (SQL, NoSQL).
- Experience working with third-party applications, such as CRMs, ERPs, or other enterprise software systems.
- Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills:
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills, with an ability to analyze and resolve complex integration issues.
- Communication & Documentation:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly document technical details and collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure) and integration tools.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
