In this role, you will be responsible for leading construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality, efficiency, and adherence to safety standards.

This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of construction project management, working alongside a team of experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

As aconstruction project manager, you will:

Project Planning & Execution

  • Develop and oversee project plans, budgets, and schedules to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet project specifications.
  • Procure materials, manage logistics, and oversee site operations.

Site Management & Compliance

  • Conduct regular site visits to inspect progress, identify risks, and resolve challenges.
  • Ensure all construction activities comply with safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
  • Maintain high-quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Team & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Lead, direct, and support on-site teams, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration.
  • Manage subcontractor relationships, overseeing work quality and contract compliance.
  • Assist in preparing project updates for clients, stakeholders, and senior management.

Project Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track project milestones and budgets, ensuring adherence to scope and contract terms.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including contracts, permits, changing orders, and RFIs.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and delays.

Process Improvement

  • Implement best practices to enhance efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and project execution.
  • Learn and utilize construction project management software to streamline workflows.

Additional Duties

  • Perform other assigned responsibilities as needed to support project success.

Requirements:

Experience & Knowledge

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in residential or commercial construction project management, including scheduling, field supervision, quality control, and production.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and industry regulations.
  • Knowledge of construction safety protocols and OSHA compliance.

Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong leadership skills to motivate teams and optimize performance.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with proper grammar and clarity.
  • Ability to negotiate contracts, resolve disputes, and oversee performance management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.

Additional Requirements

  • A valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Compensation & Benefits

The range for this role considers a wide range of factors in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certification, and other business and organizational needs. Compensation decisions are based on the facts and circumstances of each case. The current range is a reasonable estimate.
