What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Maintenance Superintendent position at Capitol Area Development Authority?
The Capitol Area Development Authority, a public agency, is seeking an experienced individual to manage the overall maintenance of buildings and other facilities. Specific duties: overseeing all phases of maintenance, provide supervisory expertise for staff, managing workmanship quality and use of best practices, manage service contracts and contractors, assist with development of annual budgets, and supervise assigned maintenance staff.
Required: 4 years of increasingly responsible supervisory experience in building and facilities maintenance. Strong knowledge of trades. HS Diploma, BA/BS preferred with major course work in business admin, and specialized training in building and facilities maintenance. .
