Job Description:
Pay Range: $70,000-$85,000
Job Type: Full-time
Role
Responsible for coordinating commercial lending activities to ensure all necessary data and processes are in place to meet the Bank’s reporting requirements; generating periodic reports for lending staff and management; and administering software products for enhancements and upgrades.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Respond to requests and questions from various Bank departments about processes and data related to commercial loans. Identify opportunities for improvements and efficiencies.
Design and implement reports to meet the data and reporting needs of the commercial lending department and other areas of the Bank.
Administer the commercial loan origination system and other commercial loan software products to ensure they function effectively and efficiently. Identify and implement opportunities for improvements and adjustments. Evaluate vendor enhancements and communicate necessary changes to the department.
Identify opportunities for new systems or software to meet department needs and management strategies. Assist with vendor selection process and implementation of systems.
Identify opportunities for new financial products to meet customer needs. Assist with defining, developing and implementing the new products.
Assist with ensuring the department is compliant with regulations and laws, including preparing for proposed new regulations.
Regularly meet and interact with members of the department at all levels to ensure data and system needs are being met.
Other tasks and duties as assigned.
Experience
Three years of experience in a similar role
Education/Certifications/Licenses
Bachelor's degree in business related field, or equivalent experience.
Skills
Must have good working knowledge of lending processes and subject matter; be able to work quickly and efficiently with general or minimal direct supervision; handle complex issues and problems; working knowledge of Word, Excel, and general computer skills; and strong oral and written communication skills.
A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required to be an effective subject matter expert in the position. In-depth dialogues, conversations and explanations with the commercial lending team is a normal part of the day-to-day experience.
Must be able to review and evaluate large amounts of data and summarize in a useful format
