The Talent Acquisition Specialist is a critical role to building and strengthening the organization by adding the best available talent to our team. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will source, identify, screen, and hire candidates for various roles throughout the company. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, 2-3 years of experience in talent acquisition, proficiency with various applicant tracking systems, experience reporting metrics, and an ability to devise sourcing strategies for each opening. This position is a hybrid role with Monday-Thursday in office and Friday available as remote.
Essential Responsibilities Include:
- Coordinate with hiring managers to approve open requisitions and determine candidate selection criteria
- Source applicants through multiple channels
- Create job descriptions and interview questions for positions as needed
- Present qualified candidates to hiring managers
- Attend job fairs or other recruitment events to help develop a candidate pipeline
- Maintain accurate records of recruiting process
- Provide reporting to management on talent acquisition process and metrics
- Work as part of the HR team, offering assistance in other areas as required
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a talent acquisition or similar role
- Experience with full-cycle recruiting
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, social media, professional networks, job board postings
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft job descriptions
- Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends
- Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field strongly preferred
- Experience in healthcare recruiting preferred
