Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT scans on patients per physician orders and protocol guidelines.
- Position patients accurately to obtain optimal images.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality imaging.
- Operate CT imaging equipment safely and effectively.
- Maintain equipment and report malfunctions or maintenance needs.
- Adhere to all safety and regulatory guidelines (HIPAA, OSHA, etc.).
- Provide patient education and guidance regarding the procedure and aftercare.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a CT Technologist (ARRT) required.
- State licensure.
- 1-2 years of experience in CT imaging preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse patient populations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
- Attention to detail and patient care excellence.
