We are seeking a dedicated and skilled X-ray Technologist to join our team at Outpatient Imaging in Fayetteville, Georgia. This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about patient care, enjoys working in a fast-paced outpatient setting, and is committed to providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services. As an X-ray Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, and working closely with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality X-ray imaging procedures on patients in accordance with prescribed protocols and safety standards.
- Prepare and position patients for X-ray examinations, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Maintain and operate imaging equipment while ensuring proper calibration and safety.
- Assist in patient education regarding the imaging procedure and provide clear instructions.
- Review and verify patient medical records, ensuring accurate data is collected for imaging procedures.
- Work with radiologists and other medical staff to ensure diagnostic images meet the highest standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Adhere to all clinic policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Valid state certification and ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) registration required.
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months of employment).
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow specific procedures.
- Experience in an outpatient imaging setting is a plus, but not required.

- Knowledge of safety requirements to provide instructions and to recognize and correct hazardous conditions.
- Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care.
- Maintains communication and cooperation with radiologists and other ancillary departments regarding changes in protocol, scheduling of procedures, exams performed and patient flow.
- Ability to communicate clearly with patients, colleagues and referring offices.
- Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public.
Preferred Experience:
Prefer a minimum of 1 year experience.
Multi-modality is a plus. Opportunity to learn Mammography.
Required Education/Certification:

- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Licensed by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Current ARRT/ Radiologic Technologist License
