HVAC Project Manager

Capitol Mechanical is looking for a Project Manager to supervise and manage individual projects. Coordinate with field superintendent the requirements for manpower and materials. Point of contact for the General Contractors job superintendent. Ensure projects are completed correctly and within budget.

Job Responsibilities:
- Point of communication between the office, foreman and field superintendent.
- Communicate all job requirements with general contractors.
- Work with field superintendent to determine the manpower requirements to complete all jobs in progress within determined schedules and budgets.
- Attend job meeting and visit sites regularly to meet with foreman in regard to job progress, manpower and material requirements.
- Communicate with sales team and field superintendent to determine future project requirements determine the man-hours required to complete the job.
- Purchase and schedule all equipment and material for projects.
- Schedule and contact all sub-contractors.
- Schedule and attend all pre-construction meetings with assigned foreman and designer and or salesman.
- Perform all job closeout meetings with field foreman and project estimator.
- Provide complete information to drafting department for as-built drawings.
- Perform all job completion owner walk-thru and training.
- Complete all submittals, and operation/maintenance manuals.
Job Responsibilities:
- 5 years’ experience in the HVAC industry
- General knowledge of the construction industry with expertise in HVAC design, codes, installations and systems.
- Ability to communicate equally well with field and office personnel.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Aptitude in math and strong problem-solving abilities
