Position Purpose :
The purpose of this posting is to create a pool of talented Multilingual Learner Associate Instructors to be reviewed as potential candidates for full-time Multilingual Learner Associate positions during the 2024-2025 school year. Multilingual Learner Associate Instructors work under the general supervision of their school principal performing the essential performance responsibilities listed below.
General Purpose :
Under the guidance of the Certified TESOL / Bilingual teacher and in conjunction with the Multilingual Learner Program Supervisor, candidates will guide Multilingual Learners toward gaining knowledge and skills in order to increase English proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The candidate will provide individual student and small group instruction, support core content area teachers, monitor student progress, administer federal assessments as necessary, and identify MLL / Bilingual students.
Essential Performance Responsibilities :
Under the direct guidance of the Certified TESOL / Bilingual teacher, building principal, and the MLL Program Supervisor, the Associate Instructor will :
