CREC Academy of International Studes is seeking an Associate Instructor for Math Support and Intervention. Under the general direction of the Administrator, the Associate Instructor will work students in class and as an instructional support and interventionist(small group). The primary focus for this position will be helping to address students' learning recovery needs. The work day will be from 7:10AM until 2:25PM for a 10-month position. Associate Instructors may also need to attend faculty meetings, departmental meetings, and professional development sessions with the approval of the program director.

Bachelors' degree in education or related field required
Previous experience working with a diverse population of students within a middle/high school setting required.
Knowledge of teaching/classroom instruction skills preferred.
Organizational and time management skills are necessary.
Must be efficient and involved in all classroom activities.
Experience with group dynamics and experiential or activity-based learning is preferred.
