Position Title: Temporary (Summer 2025) Associate Instructor/Job Coach
Program: RSS Vocational Outreach
General Purpose
Under the supervision of the Vocational Coordinator and Job Placement Counselors, to provide one-on-one supervision,
instruction and guidance to students in vocational/career settings. Flexible hours as the position will require evenings and weekends 6/20/2025-8/31/2025.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Requires a bachelor's degree and experience in working with adolescents.
Must have knowledge of vocational opportunities and work site policies and basic knowledge of crisis/behavior interventions, hygiene, toileting and feeding.
Supervision
This position has no direct supervisory responsibility.
Working Conditions
Works in both school and community settings.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Provides vocationally focused training to one to five students each year.
- Assists in developing work placements for students by visiting and reviewing all aspects of work sites where students are to be placed.
- Recommends modification of work sites for students as needed.
- Assists in the task analysis of jobs and compiles and maintains data.
- Supervises students' work and social behavior. Assists students to solve job problems.
- Maintains open and positive communications with work site supervisors and employees to encourage constructive feedback on students' job performance and behavior.
- Serves as liaison between the school program and work sites.
