The candidate will operate safely and efficiently all food service equipment in the Kitchen. Provide service of meals to students - set up and serve, clean and sanitize utensils, counters, and equipment. Prepare roster sheets. Receive, check, and sign for food delivered to school. Store food delivered appropriately. Act as liaison between Wethersfield Public Schools and CREC personnel and coordinate efforts with school staff and Wethersfield Public Schools. Ensure food safety in the delivery of meals.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Previous experience with meal distribution.
ServSafe Certification (to be acquired, if not already obtained).
Must be courteous and polite when serving students and faculty.
Physical Demands
Ability to safely move tables and other equipment. Comfort with standing for long periods of time.
