Location: River Street School, Windsor, CT
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Special Education Teachers needed to staff summer school program on a temporary basis between 3 and 6 weeks, at a school for Autistic/Special Ed students.
A current CT DOE certification in Special Education is preferred.
Bachelor degree required.
Note
This is a summer only position, the weeks are between July 1 to August 11, 2025. There is a minimum 3 week commitment, however the full 6 weeks is preferred.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Special Education Teachers needed to staff summer school program on a temporary basis between 3 and 6 weeks, at a school for Autistic/Special Ed students.
- Responsible for all classroom teacher duties, including but not limited to individual IEP/program development and implementation, report writing, parental communication, supervision of assigned staff, data collection and interpretation, and student performance assessment.
- Work as a team member with other related service staff.
- May be required to diaper, change, shower, and feed students.
- Must be able to pass background check and be fingerprinted upon hiring.
