We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Carpenter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various carpentry tasks and a strong understanding of construction processes. This role involves working on diverse projects, including residential and commercial builds, renovations, and restoration work. The Carpenter/Laborer will be responsible for executing tasks with precision and ensuring high-quality workmanship.

Duties

• Perform metal stud framing and frame carpentry for various structures.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools to build, repair, and maintain structures such as roofs, walls, and fixtures.
• Install drywall, siding, and other materials as required for each project.
• Assist in water damage restoration efforts, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and productivity.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while on the job site.

Requirements

• Proven experience in carpentry or labor-intensive roles within the construction industry.
• Familiarity with metal stud framing, frame carpentry, drywall installation, fixture installation, siding, and water damage restoration is preferred.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality work.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks for extended periods of time.
• A valid driver's license may be required for transportation to job sites.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
