Summary
As a Foreman at Capitol Valley Electric LLC, you will oversee commercial and multifamily construction projects within the Sacramento and surrounding areas. This role is essential in maintaining project timelines and quality standards while fostering a safe and productive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Ability to interpret specifications and read blueprints.
- Review project plans and schematics to understand project scope and requirements.
- Manage subcontractors and laborers effectively to optimize productivity.
- Order and coordinate delivery of material
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
- Comply with all documentation requirements and fill out all project related reports, such as: Daily Reports, Safety Reports, Inspection Reports, 2 & 3 week look ahead schedules
- Audit safe work practices, ensuring PPE is available and used properly.
- Assist superintendent in training and appraising work performance
- Provide training and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
Qualifications
- Valid CA General Electrician License
- Graduate of a state approved apprenticeship program
- Valid CA Driver License
- 3-5 years' experience in electrical sub-contractor supervision
- 5-8 years of experience in commercial and mixed-use buildings
- OSHA 30
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Moderate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Physical requirements include sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and use of hands and arms to operate equipment. Must have a strong sense of balance and no fear of heights. Must be able to lift and move up to 75 lbs.
