Role Overview
As our HR Manager, you will be responsible for managing all HR-related activities, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, training, and performance management. This role is ideal for a strategic, hands-on HR professional with experience in warehouse, logistics, or distribution environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Talent Acquisition & Retention: Lead recruitment efforts, onboarding, and retention strategies.
• HR Compliance & Regulations: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and industry labor laws, including OSHA, EEOC, and employment regulations.
• Employee Relations & Engagement: Build a positive work culture, address employee concerns, and drive engagement initiatives.
• Performance Management: Develop performance review processes, track employee progress, and assist department heads in setting KPIs.
• Training & Development: Implement training programs to enhance skills and leadership development.
• Payroll & Benefits Administration: Work with finance to oversee payroll accuracy and benefits administration.
• HR Policies & Procedures: Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and employee handbooks.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5 years of HR experience, preferably in food distribution, logistics, or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws, OSHA requirements, and HR best practices.
• Experience with HR software and payroll systems.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Bilingual (English & Spanish) REQUIRED.
