JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for implementing the company quality system and policy in support of internal and external customer requirements. Performs incoming product inspections and prepares outgoing certificates to meet customer requirements. Data is collected and accurate company records are maintained by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned.
· Participate in maintaining a Compliant Quality System.
· Prepare customer requested Material and Part Certifications.
· Perform inspections of purchased parts used for resale, which includes inspecting part dimensions, labels, packaging and overall condition of the parts.
· Perform receiving inspection duties, including verification of the lot/batch numbers to the COA and actual product.
· Perform dock audits and maintain reports.
· Support non-conforming product process and help maintain QC Hold Area.
· Perform visual inspection on product when customer requires 100% product inspection.
Use desktop computer to generate and update forms, correspondences and spreadsheets for the purpose of maintaining various quality records and reports.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
