Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Cleans assigned areas daily such as showers, restrooms, tubs, sinks, dressing rooms, relaxation areas, treatment rooms, porches, lobby and other public areas.
- Tasks include sweeping, mopping, dusting, scrubbing, polishing, vacuuming, trash removal, etc.
- Cleans bath and swim spa.
- Sprays and deodorizes as needed.
- Collects and washes soiled linens and clothing. Dries, folds, and restocks linens.
- Stock treatment rooms with supplies and fresh materials.
- Tracks inventory and notifies spa manager when supplies are low.
- Maintains storage areas in a neat and orderly manner.
- Periodically conducts deep cleaning including wet room spa areas.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience:
- Experience in commercial cleaning or a related field is a plus.
Knowledge and Characteristics:
- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation techniques.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to maintain a positive and productive working relationship with co-workers in all departments.
Terms of Employment:
This is a part-time year-round position. During the in-season (April – early November) days will vary including some holiday and weekend work. Typical hours are from 6 pm until finished, typically 11 pm. During the winter season hours will be evening hours Thursday – Saturday and daytime hours on Monday. Hours will vary based on demand for services. Rate of pay starts at $12.00 per hour.
