What are the responsibilities and job description for the Farm Hand position at Cappadocia Farm?
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and timely applicant for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday- Morning and or Afternoon chores.
Duties:
6:30 Am: Drop feed, bring horses in, remake grain for the afternoon, change blankets or fly gear, feed and water outside horses. (1.5-3 hours)
330 pm: Drop grain, change blankets or fly gear, turn horses out, dump and refill water buckets, set hay for morning, remake grain. (3-4 hours)
Applicants should:
-18 yrs or older
-Be timely and well organized
-Have reliable transportation
-Have at least some prior horse experience. We can train you but some familiarity would be good
-Have a good sense of humor and work well as a team unit
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
