Manufactured Housing, Compliance & Regulations Division
GENERAL DESCRIPTION :
Performs advanced journey-level administrative work in the Compliance and Regulations Unit in the Manufactured Housing Division. The Compliance Analyst acts in a non-supervisory capacity, by coordinating internal administrative support including disseminating information, developing filing systems, and preparing and editing reports and documents. May serve as a lead worker providing direction to others. Works under limited supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES :
- Handle fingerprint matching and renaming.
- Handle scanning and renaming of licensing files.
- Act as the back up to the Licensing Analyst.
- Reply to licensing emails and voicemails as needed.
- Provides interpretations of licensing requirements and other information applicable to various agency
- Handle all aspects of the Licensing Education Class (LEC).
- Handle routine and difficult calls related the LEC.
- Opening and sending cases to the field office.
- Processing Criminal History License Suspensions and Updates
- Working specific cases for warranty related issues.
- Assist with drafting Notices of Violations, Consent Orders, and Final Orders.
- Assist with replying to phone calls and emails.
- Assist with or perform database developments, enhancements, and testing.
- Handles confidential materials / matters including criminal history reports.
- Keeps the Supervisor and Manager informed of all Section matters.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Must be willing to work in a non-smoking environment and adhere to all applicable Department safety rules and policies. Must be able to pass a DPS background check. Must be willing to work overtime if necessary.
