BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY
Performs routine (journey-level) systems administration work. Work involves maintaining the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of systems. Installs or oversees the installation and upgrade of computer components and system software. May provide guidance to others. Reports to Program Supervisor for Special Services of the Facilities Management (FM) Branch. Works under moderate supervision, with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
WORK HOURS : Monday - Friday, 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week

PHYSICAL / WORKING CONDITIONS
Ability to stoop, bend, crawl, lift, climb, kneel, stand, walk, sit, carry, push, pull, balance, reach, crouch, with good color vision and depth perception. Frequently lifts, carries, and sets up equipment and materials that weigh up to 40 pounds. If needed to be available to assist in on call duties for after-hours, weekend and holidays facilities emergency. Works inside and outside in areas that are usually dusty, dirty, or greasy, and often works in inclement weather conditions. Requires approximately 50% travel.
