Job Description
THE SELECTED CANDIDATE MUST RESIDE WITHIN A ONE (1) HOUR COMMUTE FROM THE DALLAS, FORT WORTH, OR LUBBOCK TxDMV REGIONAL SERVICE CENTERS.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Our mission at the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV) is to serve, protect and advance the citizens and industries in the state with quality motor vehicle related services. We are a dynamic state agency dedicated to customer service, consumer protection and the success of motor vehicle-related industries.
The selected candidate will perform entry-level routine (journey-level) compliance analysis work in the Compliance Services Section of the Enforcement Division at the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV). They will conduct compliance reviews at motor vehicle dealers and other assigned locations to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, agency policies, and procedures associated with license plate and premise requirements. The candidate will report to the Manager and / or Lead Compliance Specialist and work under moderate supervision, with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. The job will entail 75% travel, primarily during working hours, with some overnight travel, as needed.
Qualifications : MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education
- Graduation from high school or equivalent.
- Education may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis, up to a maximum of two (2) years, with major coursework in business, public administration, finance, accounting, statistical analysis, research methodology, criminal justice, criminology, or liberal arts.
