Job Details
We are seeking an experienced Lead Excavator Operator to lead a team of 2-4 individuals on job sites, ensuring efficient and safe completion of excavation projects. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience as an excavator operator, 5 years of experience with water and sewer installations, and 3 years of experience with excavating equipment, including a backhoe and a Bobcat.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with project managers and plumbers to ensure smooth operation of excavation projects
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and expectations
- Perform manual labor alongside operating heavy machinery to complete excavation tasks efficiently and safely
- Maintain equipment in good working condition and perform routine maintenance tasks
