Standard business hours are M-F, 8 : 00 a.m. - 5 : 00 p.m.
Individual and work group schedule determined by the Financial Administration Division.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications :
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
A bachelor's degree with a major in accounting, finance, economics, business, or public administration from an accredited college or university, plus two years of experience where the majority of time was spent in accounting, auditing, or budgeting.
A graduate degree in accounting, finance, economics, business, or public administration may substitute for one year of the required experience.
Six years of experience where the majority of time was spent in accounting, auditing, or budgeting.
Certification as a public accountant (CPA).

CURRENT TCEQ EMPLOYEES
This position is also available as a lateral transfer opportunity (LTO) to TCEQ employees within the Accountant V state classification. The selected candidate must meet the minimum qualifications of the corresponding job in the Accountant V series.
