About TTSTC
The Texas Treasury Safekeeping Trust Company (TTSTC) is a special-purpose entity that manages, safeguards, and invests public funds and securities belonging to the state of Texas, its agencies and local political subdivisions of the state. TTSTC's special-purpose entity status provides the Comptroller's office direct access to specialized investment services and programs enabling the Comptroller to achieve the highest return at the lowest cost to the state.
General description
Join the Texas Treasury Safekeeping Trust Company as a Developer! Work involves overseeing programming projects; analyzing proposed applications; and designing software solutions. May supervise the work of others. The candidate must have the ability to learn new concepts quickly and apply knowledge appropriately in a highly active environment with ever-changing circumstances.
Work Hours
Agency standard work hours are Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm, 40 hours per week with occasional evening and weekend hours. Hours are subject to change based upon business need or division determination.
This position may be eligible for a flexible / hybrid work schedule if certain conditions are met; working arrangements may change at any time as business necessitates.
Qualifications :
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor's degree in data processing, computer science, business, or a related field, required.
- Six years of full-time experience in a combination of the following :
- MS Visual Studio, NET and .NET Framework
- ASP.NET
- HTML
- JavaScript
- Web Services
- AJAX
- MS Team Foundation Server or other relevant source control systems
- VB Script
- VB.Net
- Six years of full-time experience performing MS SQL development for the following :
- Stored procedures
- SSIS Packages
- SSRS Reports
- Three years of experience with Microsoft MVC, JSON, jQuery, Restful Services, Angular JS, and NodeJS
- Three years of experience working in an AWS or Microsoft Azure environment.
- Experience operating within and supporting multiple environments, including production.
- Five years of experience developing within an investment environment.
- Five years of experience in development with advanced T-SQL queries and objects which include :
- Common Table Expressions (CTEs)
- Indexes
- Triggers
- User Defined Functions (UDFs)
- Experience with investment accounting systems, quantitative risk analysis, or investment tracking systems
