Summary of Position:
Oversee, coordinate and execute the production and management of all baking, planning, organizing, training and leadership necessary to achieve stated objectives in sales, costs, employee retention, customer service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness and sanitation.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee and participate in the production of all bakery products. Ensure all products are consistently produced according to the company’s recipes, portioning and baking standards.
- Achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance of facility and sanitation and cleanliness. While ensuring that all customers are given responsive, friendly and courteous service at all times.
- Continually strive to develop your staff in all areas of managerial and professional development, while fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Actively manage other staff members by working hands on filling in where needed to ensure production schedules are met.
- Prepare all required paperwork, including invoices, reports and production schedules in an accurate and organized manner.
- Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition.
- Ensure that all supplies are ordered and are received in correct unit count.
- Oversee and ensure that company policies on employee performance appraisals are followed and completed on a timely basis.
- Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirements of the restaurant, employees and guests.
Qualifications
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours).
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 60 pounds.
- Have exceptional grooming and hygiene habits.
- Possess suitable communication skills to create a positive interaction experience with co-workers and customers.
- Shift schedule is Monday – Friday: 2PM – 11PM (out time is approximate, depending on production demand)
- Must have the stamina to work 40 to 50 hours per week.
