Caprae Capital Partners is a private equity fund led by the principal Kevin Hong who has been a serial tech entrepreneur, and who grew two startups to $31M ARR and $7M in revenue. The fund originated with two additional tech entrepreneur friends of Kevin who have had ~8 figure and ~9 figure exits to Twitter and Square. Currently the fund is reviewing deals to acquire a new business. Caprae capital is a portfolio company of a larger family office which is a fast-growing Family Private Equity Office.

About the Team:

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Client Engagements: Manage all aspects of forensic accounting services for family law clients, from start to finish
- Forensic Analysis & Valuations: Conduct detailed forensic accounting, financial analyses, and valuations to support legal proceedings
- Expert Testimony: Prepare exhibits and provide expert witness testimony in legal proceedings
- Case Strategy & Communication: Work closely with attorneys, clients, and team members to set case strategy and communicate findings
- Develop Forensic Models: Create forensic and economic models for presentations in court
- Compliance & Confidentiality: Ensure that all work adheres to the highest standards of professionalism and client confidentiality
- Train and Mentor Staff: Lead and develop the forensic accounting team, providing guidance and overseeing staff training
- Business Development: Represent the firm at family law conferences and events, and participate in business scaling initiatives
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
- Active CPA or equivalent certification
- At least 10 years of experience in public accounting or a related field
- Ability to manage complex client engagements and provide expert testimony
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients, attorneys, and internal teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Dissomaster and QuickBooks (training provided)
- Ability to travel based on business needs
- Flexibility regarding work hours to meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Accounting or related fields

Compensation:
- Base salary: $111,000 - $197,000, plus bonus ($14,000 - $27,000)
- Total compensation range: $125,000 - $224,000, based on experience, education, and skill set
