Full-time 40 hours per week
SUMMARY
The Resident Technology Advisor provides onsite technology training and support to Capri’s residents through individual appointments and community events.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Assist residents with questions and issues regarding use of technology and their devices.
- Assist residents in connecting their devices to the community WiFi.
- Document interactions with residents.
- Partner with other resident technology advisors to coordinate scheduling and preparations for community technology events.
- Partner with IT to understand each community’s technology setup and to coordinate their assistance on issue resolution when required.
- Assist in development of easy-to-use training materials or reminder sheets for residents.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. College degree or degree-in-progress preferred.
- Great familiarity with end-user technology and current with technology trends.
- User training, customer support or similar experience.
- High level of patience with strong, positive customer service skills and communication skills – written and oral. Effective documentation skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
- Appropriate sense of urgency with a demonstrated ability to deliver.
- Must have reliable transportation and schedule flexibility to include weekends.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write technical reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

- Work environment includes typical computer related noise levels and paper and equipment generated dust. Exposure to VDTs occurs on a regular basis. Incumbent is on call to provide support services during off-hours. Scheduled night and weekend work is required. Learned physical skill is required for keyboarding and use of peripheral equipment.
