What You’ll Do:

As a Global Internal Communications Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the creation and delivery of clear and engaging internal communications, programs, and tools that inform and inspire the global organization and frame employee experiences. Through creativity, organization, and impeccable writing skills, you will play a significant role in identifying communication and programming needs, and creating clarity, alignment, and engagement across the global organization.


Strategy

  • Partner closely with the Senior Manager, Global Internal Communications and Director, Global Internal Communications to continue to evolve the Internal Communications Center of Expertise, including communications and programs to drive engagement and create an employee community across the Capri Holdings’ group (Jimmy Choo, Versace, Michael Kors), with a primary focus on the Michael Kors brand.
  • Partner with Senior Manager on information dissemination to ensure communications are delivered on the right platforms, to the right audiences and at the right time, while ensuring varied company messages are not contradictory or competing.
  • Develop new ways of engaging employees through exciting and brand-appropriate communications and activations that align with our global employees’ needs and interests.
  • Assist in the solicitation and analysis of data to make informed recommendations on how to refine, adapt and enhance existing Internal Communications strategies.
  • Conduct competitive market research and engage in continued industry education to remain ahead of industry best practices and trends in internal communications, employee engagement and employee experience to best support business goals.


Daily Operations

  • Work closely with the Senior Manager, Global Internal Communications and internal clients across the global organization to understand business needs and ensure initiatives, announcements and programs have an effective communication strategy and engaging delivery, while aligning with the larger Internal Communications strategy.
  • Work closely with the Graphic Designer, Global Internal Communications to ensure communications are visually compelling while developing new, engaging ways of communicating across a variety of mediums, including company employee intranet, office TVs, and more.
  • Manage daily internal communications needs, including intake, writing, editing, and distribution.
  • Oversee the coordination of global and cross-brand messaging to ensure consistency and timely delivery.
  • Work closely with regional partners to understand business needs and ensure our tools, systems and processes support the needs and goals of the global organization.
  • Manage the maintenance of team project calendars, content drives, communications planners and internal distribution lists.
  • Serve as an internal point of contact for all communications and engagement needs and liaise with global partners to ensure they are equipped with the most relevant information to execute their responsibilities accurately, timely and cohesively.
  • Manage internal communications inboxes, responding to inquiries to ensure effective and timely resolution.
  • Own the ongoing management/maintenance and evolution of the global employee intranet and other platforms.
  • Manage the creation, execution and facilitation of employee recognition and engagement initiatives, including our speaker series, anniversary program, sample sales, holiday celebrations, contests, and other events globally.
  • Partner with regional stakeholders to develop ongoing cadence of events and activities to foster community across the global organization.
  • Assist with Ad Hoc projects for the department, as needed.


You’ll Need to Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1-2 years of relevant communications experience, preferably in a luxury Retail, Wholesale and/or Corporate environment with a global employee presence.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and applications, including Microsoft Teams.

  • Ability to speak and write in multiple languages preferred.
  • Proficiency with Adobe InDesign preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced work environment, pivot quickly based on changing business needs, manage time appropriately, and remain composed under pressure.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • A high degree of creativity and out-of-the-box thinking.
  • Genuine interest in the wellbeing of employees.

In compliance with certain Pay Transparency laws, employers are required to disclose a salary range. The salary for this position will vary based on role requirements, skill set and years of experience.

Salary : $53,000 - $88,000
