Hybrid: 3 days in office and 2 days work from home
SUMMARY
The SharePoint Administrator is responsible for the design, configuration, implementation and subsequent management and support of Capri Communities’ SharePoint environment. This role will lead the initiative to migrate from network file share(s) to SharePoint Online, working closely with business users and IT to ensure a smooth transition contributing to increased collaboration, productivity, security, and document management across the organization.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

- Administer, manage, and maintain SharePoint Online environments within Microsoft 365.
- Configure and manage SharePoint sites, libraries, and permissions to ensure efficient and secure collaboration across teams.
- Partner with IT Security and Systems Administrators to follow Capri standards and best practices, implement security policies, monitor for potential vulnerabilities, and ensure compliance with internal and external security regulations.
- Provide user support and resolve technical issues related to SharePoint Online, including troubleshooting, diagnosing, and recommending solutions.
- Implement, monitor, and enforce governance policies to ensure that data within SharePoint is organized and compliant with organizational standards.
- Support and maintain SharePoint workflows, automation, and integration with other Microsoft 365 applications (e.g., Teams).
- Perform regular audits of SharePoint environments to ensure optimal performance and resolve any identified issues.
- Manage site provisioning, permissions, and access control for users.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design SharePoint solutions tailored to business needs.
- Conduct training sessions and provide ongoing user support to improve SharePoint adoption and proficiency across the organization.
- Stay current with SharePoint Online updates and best practices to continuously enhance the platform’s capabilities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve user and technical issues related to SharePoint Online in a timely manner.
- Participate in disaster recovery and backup management for SharePoint data and ensure compliance with IT security standards.
- After hours/on-call support as needed to maintain continuity of services as directed by IT leadership.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Associate’s degree in information technology or related discipline, or a combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a SharePoint Online Administrator or Microsoft 365 Administrator.
- Experience designing SharePoint Online and projects migrating from network file shares.
- Knowledge of SharePoint Online configuration, site creation, document management, and security/permissions management.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting for SharePoint Online management and automation.
- Strong understanding of Office 365 integrations, including Teams, OneDrive and other Microsoft 365 services.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
- Solid understanding of IT governance, security, and compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
