Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic restaurant team. As a Food Runner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and efficiently. You will work closely with the kitchen staff and servers to deliver an exceptional dining experience, showcasing your commitment to guest services and teamwork.
Duties
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner.
- Assist servers by ensuring that all tables are properly set and stocked with necessary items.
- Buss tables and maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including clearing dishes and resetting tables for new guests.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding order status and any special requests from guests.
- Support the restaurant team by helping with food handling and preparation as needed.
- Utilize Aloha POS system for order tracking and communication with servers.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and courteously.
Skills
- Strong guest services skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Experience in food handling practices to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar restaurant point-of-sale systems is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to facilitate teamwork between front-of-house and back-of-house staff.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is a plus, but not required.
